2011 was the 60th anniversary of the Telecaster, so Fender celebrated this occasion by issuing 12 very special limited edition Tele-Bration guitars. The Fender Custom Shop's popular La Cabronita Especial Telecaster model was the basis for the August model of this Anniversary year in the form of the US made Cabronita Telecaster - a Telecaster with "a lot more attitude", which boasts a slab body, the fantastic TV Jones Filter'Tron pickups controlled only by a single volume control and a 3-way pickup selector toggle switch.
This two tone sunburst finished “Tele-Bration” guitar is in really good condition. There are a few small marks on the body (see last 3 pictures) and some small dings to the edges (too small to pick on pictures). Frets and fretboard are in good shape with only a little wear evident on the bottom 3 frets. Newly setup with a set of 10s on board, and it is so nice to play – The guitar comes in its original Fender G&G black tolex hard case, along with original tags, paperwork and an alternative tortoiseshell scratch plate.
