2003 American Fender Jazz Bass with S1 Switch, finished in Chrome Silver. It is in mint condition and comes complete with its original Fender Moulded Case.
This bass has the factory S1 switch for series/ parallel switching. It is a push button built into the neck pickup volume control and makes the bass sound like a P Bass when enabled, and when it’s off, you get the natural jazz bass tone. 2003 was the first year Fender introduced the S1 switch and it is great for providing even more tonal options for the Jazz Bass.
The rest of the bass is what you would expect from a US made Jazz – Alder body with Modern C profile, Satin Urethane finished, maple neck and maple fretboard with medium jumbo frets. Despite being over 20 years old the bass is in fantastic condition and set up with nice low action.
