2002 Gordon Smith Explorer – this rare offset Explorer shaped guitar has a beautiful Brazilian Cedar wood body. The Mahogany set neck has a Rosewood fretboard, a brass nut and the headstock facia is figured Walnut – the neck profile is a flat D, not too slim and really nice to play. As you would expect from a Gordon Smith guitar the overall build quality is exceptional and the satin finish to body and neck is the perfect look for this guitar. The two humbuckers are controlled by a 3-way toggle switch, individual volume controls and a master tone control. Both volume controls have push pull to activate coils split – resulting in a huge variety of tones being available.
The guitar is in great condition with only a couple of tiny marks, and a bit of arm rest wear, to show for its 20+ years – comes complete with shaped padded gig bag. We would quite happily put this up against any Gibson Explorers we had through the shop – great fun.
