1984-87 Squier Telecaster, E Serial number, made at the FujiGen Gakki factory in Japan. We absolutely love these early MIJ Squire telecasters - high quality builds and they are becoming really hard to find. This one has been played a lot and has many small marks and dings on the body to show for its 40 years of age – see last 5 pictures. Looks to be all original with the exception of one of the control knobs and 1 of the control plate screws. It has a top loading bridge with individual adjustable saddles, the Gotoh tuners are really smooth and the tone from the pickups is brilliant – crystal clear with that lovely treble twang on the bridge setting.
The one-piece maple neck is a D profile, which is flatter on the back than the normal C shape but very comfortable to play. There is wear visible on the first 5 frets but all the frets are in great shape with plenty of life in them yet. Guitar comes complete with brand new Fender padded gig bag.
