Product Details

The Ibanez AS100 is a semi-hollow body electric guitar model made in Japan by FujiGen from 1979 through to 1982

The AS100 features a semi-hollow, double cutaway body with a laminated maple top with ƒ holes and ivory binding on maple back and sides with a hard rock maple centre block mated to a set-in mahogany neck with a 22-fret ebony fingerboard with ivory binding and pearl dot position markers. Components include a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups with chrome covers and individual volume and tone controls, black pickup rings, a Tune-o-matic style ST bridge, a Quik Change II tailpiece, a bone nut, a black pickguard, Sure Grip II knobs, and Smooth Tuner machine heads.

This 1982 example is all original and is in fantastic condition – these guitars are getting harder to find, especially in this condition, and especially in the lesser seen Cherry finish – and to make it perfect it comes complete with its original fitted hard case.
