Product Details

1977 Fender Precision bass guitar previously owned by Kym Bradshaw of “The Saints”.

The bass is all original with the obvious exception of the striking polished metal scratch plate. Serial number S757152 comes back to 1977 manufacture, with the original pots having 1977 pot codes. Three-tone sunburst body and maple neck with rosewood fretboard - The bass is in excellent condition for its age and is set up beautifully with a brand new set of Ernie Ball Roundwound strings on board. The bass does have a number of good honest play wear marks on the body – see last 5 pictures. The bass comes complete with a non-Fender period correct hard case.

The Saints from Brisbane Australia had a hit with their debut single ' I'm Stranded' which was released in September 1976, and went on to be signed for a three-album contract. The song is said to be one of the iconic singles of the era. The band, famous in Australia, toured in the UK with headline UK Punk bands such as the Sex Pistols in the late 1970's.
