The Hofner "Clubs" were small hollow-bodied archtop guitars with Hofner’s "Slendaneck". The Club 60 was the deluxe specification model in the Club range. Produced between 1958 and 1962 it featured better quality flame maple veneers to back and sides, an ebony fingerboard, nickel/silver frets, more complex body binding/purfling, ornate mother of pearl fret markers and headstock inlays.
This 1959 Blonde Hofner Club 60 is in excellent condition - all original hardware on this guitar with the exception of genuine Hofner replacement teacup knobs, upgraded Kluson tuners and the modern control panel. Still has the original leather strap connectors fitted. The guitar is in great condition for its age with only real imperfections being a couple of small marks on the top (see last 2 pictures). The neck has been reset so guitar good to go for another 60 years - comes complete with a brand new tweed fitted hard case.
