This beautiful 1957 Hofner Club 50 is in near mint condition and is all original, with the exception of the control knob bases (inserts are from original knobs). This Hofner Club 50 Blonde has a spruce top, laminated maple back and sides with striking black bindings, 3-piece maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, and has the triple-dot headstock facia. The 2 x Hofner rosewood bar pickups with black tops are controlled with the oval-shaped control console and individual pickup switches. It has the triple-dot headstock facia.
The guitar has been exceptionally well looked after and still plays and sounds fantastic - the guitar has had a neck reset and is good to play on for another 65+ years. As a nice bonus this Club 50 comes complete with original Selmer hard case, original guarantee card (with the matching serial number), and original strap and cable that were sold with the guitar – all together a very nice collectors package.
