Product Details

The AM100 is a hollow body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1983. It was made in Japan by FujiGen as part of the Stagemaster series and has a rather striking metallic dark green finish. Only produced in 1983 these are pretty hard to find these days.

The AM100 features a compact, semi-hollow, double cutaway body design (ES-336/339 size) with an arched, laminated maple top with ƒ holes and ivory binding on maple back and sides with a maple center block. The set maple neck has a 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with ivory binding and pearloid dot position markers. The guitar has premium Ibanez components as stock including a pair of Ibanez Super 58 humbucking pickups, a Tune-o-matic style Gibraltar II bridge with a Quik Change II tailpiece, Sure Grip II knobs and Ibanez Smooth Tuner machine heads.

The guitar is all original and in good condition despite its 42+ years. The guitar is missing its scratch plate (there are screws filling the fixing holes), the headstock has some chips to the finish and there is a small dent to the side of the treble horn (see last 8 pictures) – the guitar has clearly been well played and there is some obvious play wear to the fretboard, however frets are still in great shape and the guitar sill plays fantastic. Comes complete with period generic oblong hard case.
