1964 Epiphone Sorrento in Royal Olive, in truly fantastic collectors condition. This original 1964 model boasts a striking finish in a vibrant shade of green/olive, with a sleek and elegant design that is both timeless and stylish.
The guitar features a single-cutaway body made from mahogany, which is both lightweight and resonant, delivering rich and warm tones with a natural sustain. The neck is also made from mahogany, with a rosewood fretboard with classic 60's Epiphone oval inlays – so nice to play. The headstock features a vintage Epiphone logo and truss rod cover. Other features include a floating rosewood bridge, a trapeze tailpiece, and a set of vintage-style tuners, all of which combine to provide the guitar's superb stylish look. And, to top it all off, this is the desirable wide nut version.
The guitar is all original with the exception of the knobs, which have been replaced, as has the bridge which is a Japanese repro ABR-1.
Despite being 60+ years old the guitar is in near mint condition and comes complete with its original Epiphone branded hard case.
